Importance Notice for ATM Cards |
|

Please note the following changes related to VISA ATM Cards at Viriva Community Credit Union:
ATM Cards are being upgraded to a VISA Debit/Check Card, thereby providing you with added card functionality and no increased liability. The process for this upgrade affects only ATM cardholders, in that the card you currently have will no longer work, effective Saturday, November 15th. A new card will be sent to you on or before October 22nd, with a PIN following 2 days later. Once you have received the new Debit/Check Card and activated it, it should be used immediately to access funds on your account. If you have any questions on this upgrade, please contact our Phone Center at 215-333-1201 x3. If you do not receive a new card to use by October 22nd, please call Catherine (ext. 127) or Mary (est. 117).
Debit Card users: The ATM Card conversion does not affect you. The current (valid) Debit Card you have will continue to work as usual.

Scholarship Contest |

Viriva Community Credit Union understands the cost of higher education and wants to help! We are now accepting applications for our 2009 - 2010 Scholarship Contest.
The Credit Union’s 2009 Scholarship Contest includes:
- Two (2) $1,000 College Scholarships will be awarded to qualifying high school seniors for their freshman year of college;
- One (1) $1,000 College Scholarship will be awarded to a qualifying college student entering his/her sophomore, junior, or senior year;
- Two (2) $500 High School Scholarships will be awarded to qualifying high school students entering his/her freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year.
Deadline for entries is March 9, 2009. Winners, or acceptable representatives, will be required to attend an awards ceremony to be held during the Credit Union’s 73nd Annual Meeting held in April, 2009.

Anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school, or volunteers in Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery or Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania.

Immediate family members of existing members.
How to Join:
Interested scholarship applicants who are not currently members of the Credit Union may apply for membership any time before the scholarship deadline. If the member is between the ages of 13 through 17, he/she must complete a Teen Membership Application for the Money Masters Club Account. The parent/guardian must be a joint owner on the account. The only membership requirement is a $5 deposit to open a Savings account. For more information or, to receive a membership application, contact the Phone Center at 215-333-1201.
