The newly added shared branching service is now available for all members to use!  As of November 1, 2011 members now have the ability to transact credit union business at more than 4,390 additional branches across the country.

With shared branching, credit unions from all over the country partner up to open their branches to each other's members. This means you can use any of the 4,390 (and counting) nationwide participating locations to conduct transactions, just as you would in a Viriva CCU branch.

To make a transaction to your Viriva CCU account, simply visit any credit union branch that features the Shared Branching Network Swirl and:

  1. indicate that you' re a member of Viriva Community Credit Union,
  2. that you’re there to do a shared branching transaction;
  3. provide your full Viriva CCU account number (per your statement), and
  4. show a valid state issued ID.

Visit www.cuservicecenter.com to find a participating credit union branch near you and to view an image of the Shared Branching Network Swirl.

Every shared branch location can be used just like one of our own to conduct a range of transactions, like:

  • Deposits and withdrawals
  • Loan payments
  • Transfers between accounts
  • Balance inquiries
  • And much more

Members can perform four (4) free shared branching “verifications” per month, which roughly equates to one per week, after which a $3.00 fee will be assessed. Verifications are performed once each visit and allow for an unlimited amount of transactions per visit, so the fee is not per transaction, but per visit.
